1. Consultation & Quote
Every successful project starts with a clear understanding of your vision. We’ll arrange a convenient site visit to assess your property, measure the area, and discuss design options, colours, and finishes. After evaluating the sub-base and drainage conditions, we provide a free, no-obligation quote with transparent pricing — no hidden costs, no surprises.
2. Preparation
A strong, stable foundation is key to a long-lasting resin surface. Our team excavates the existing surface and installs a geotextile membrane to prevent weed growth. We then add and compact a high-quality MOT Type 1 sub-base to ensure excellent drainage and structural integrity. Every stage is carefully levelled and checked before moving on to laying the resin.
3. Mix & Lay
The heart of the process — we blend the UV-stable resin and natural aggregate on-site using professional equipment to guarantee consistency. The mixture is poured, spread evenly, and hand-trowelled for a smooth, seamless finish. Our installers work meticulously to ensure an even thickness, clean edges, and a perfect gradient for water flow.
4. Finishing Touches
Once the surface has been laid, we take time to refine every detail. We clean the area, shape neat edging lines, and can apply an optional seal coat for added protection and gloss. This step ensures your new resin-bound driveway or patio not only performs beautifully but also looks immaculate.
5. Curing & Completion
After a curing period of around 4–6 hours (weather-dependent), your new resin surface is ready for light foot traffic — and typically vehicle-ready within 24 hours. We complete a full inspection before handover, ensuring the surface meets our high standards for strength, permeability, and visual appeal.
